Who we are
We’re more than just a basketball group— we are a community of adult basketball players with intermediate to advanced skills, brought together by a shared love for the game. Founded by a former collegiate player who missed the game and wanted to build something special like-minded adults. Whether you’re sharing off the rust or keeping your skills sharp, this is your place to hoop.
Fast-paced, full-court games that are competitive, welcoming, and fun. Creating an environment where players can challenge themselves while making new friends. We’re here to balance competition with camaraderie, ensuring every game is enjoyable and exciting.
THE VIBE
HOW IT WORKS
It all begins ON THE COURT
Every Sunday morning from 9:00am - 11:00am and Wednesday evening from 7:30pm - 9:30pm, we run open play at local schools and sports complexes. Two full hours of play for $10. We limit the number of players to 25 to ensure that you’re sitting out for no more than one game at a time. 25 players, 5 teams, 2 courts!
We expect those playing with us to have a basic understanding of basketball and we ask that you come in with an intermediate or advanced level of play.
How to Lock in Your Spot
Stay tuned every week. We’ll share game details in our Facebook group. Be one of the first 25 players to secure your spot on our schedule page, which saves your spot for the next upcoming games. Look out for updates about the gym location. If spots are available, we’ll notify our Facebook group with how many spots are open… first come, first served.
Game format
Each session will last 2 hours, with lots of runs played during that time. Teams may switch or shuffle at halftime if games feel unbalanced. To keep the games fair and engaging, here’s how we run things:
Players are randomly assigned to maximize court time
Each game will consist of 5v5 full-court play
Games will run until a team hits 11 (e.g., 11 points by 1s and 2s, straight up)
Depending on turnout, you won’t sit out more than one game
Winning team stays for up to 3 games in a row; losing team rotates out, keeping the competition fresh and dynamic.
If turnout allows, we use the “King od the Court” format where winners stay on one court
RULES OF PLAY
Respect the Gym treat the space with care. Clean up after yourself, and keep the court clean and organized
Good Sportsmanship Only show respect to all players and teams, regardless of skill level. No hostility, name-calling, or overly aggressive behavior
Play Fair calls (e.g., fouls) should be made honestly and respectfully. If there’s a dispute, replay the possession. No unnecessary roughness or dangerous play
Be Punctual show up on time to maximize playing opportunities and avoid delays. We reserve the right to forfeit the spots of any late arrivals to other on-location players on the waiting list
Rotations if a team is waiting, winning team stays on, and losing team rotates out (up to 3 games in a row). Everyone gets a fair chance to play
