Fall showdown 1-day blind draw tournament

Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 20th at Woodstock North High School— this one-day blind draw basketball tournament promises high energy, fierce competition, and community vibes. Teams of 5–7 players will be randomly assigned based on your skill level—A (advanced), B (intermediate), or C (casual)—to keep matchups competitive and fun.

TOURNAMENT Format

The day will kick off with a round-robin format, where each team will play three games (one against each opponent). Games will be played to 15 points (1s and 2s, win by 2, cap at 19) or run for 20 minutes, whichever comes first. Scores and records will be tracked throughout the day.

The top two teams will face off in a best-of-three finals series, with each game played to 15 points (1s and 2s, win by 2, cap at 19). The winning team will be crowned Summer Clash champions and earn bragging rights + FCC Hoops merch!

EXTRAS

We’ll have FCC reversible jerseys for sale (limited quantity), optional post-game pizza, group photos, and a highlight reel to commemorate the day. Let’s bring the heat and make this tournament one for the books—see you on the court!
